A Pineapple and a Few Thoughts
A pineapple takes years before it decides to produce a fruit. It cannot be hurried or persuaded to grow faster.
And yet it all begins rather simply: with a crown you choose not to throw away after eating the fruit.
My pineapple is now in its third generation in my care. And from its crown, another little plant is beginning to grow.
Perhaps this small cycle is about more than propagating a pineapple. Perhaps it is a gentle reminder that not everything has to happen quickly to turn out beautifully.
Sometimes life simply needs its time.
